Steel Founders' Society of America is seeking a Technical Director to lead all of the technical activities of the Society. The position is responsible for managing research projects, coordinating and directing Technical Committees and Product Groups, and providing technical expertise to member steel casting producers and steel casting users.

The ideal candidate will have a degree with a metallurgical emphasis and a strong background in steel and stainless steel casting production. They would have demonstrated project management skills. They would enjoy working with the whole range of people in plants and be capable of writing and speaking to small to large groups. They would be trained in problem solving and have experience in foundry trouble shooting. Travel is a requirement.
